Do you reside in North Lancashire? Do you want to sit somewhere nice and comfortable while you watch the World Cup 2018? Well, we have a couple of venues to recommend.
The best place to go is Lancaster, in the very north of the county, and out of all the pubs there we have selected a few which we think would seriously enhance your World Cup viewing experience.
Read on to find out what makes them such good venues.
The Crafty Scholar
This modern, downtown bar has all you can need to watch the World Cup. With traditional English trappings and plenty to offer for drinks as well as food, the Crafty Scholar has great appeal to the football-watching crowd and should be top of your list for watching all the football games.
Residing in Lancaster since the 16th Century, Pendle Witch has live music and plenty of food on offer, making it a great place to watch the FIFA World Cup 2018. Friendly staff sit behind the bar and the bar itself serves traditional real ale.
The Golden Lion
Another ancient pub, this time from 17th Century, the Golden Lion also has some pretty decent ale and plenty of live music to keep you entertained (though, we’re sure they won’t play when there’s a game on).
There are plenty of screens in which you can watch any match you wish, making the Golden Lion one of the better places to watch the tournament unfold.
Serving delicious food and drink, Fibber McGees has a great atmosphere with welcoming décor and ambience. There’s plenty of reasons to come here to watch the World Cup but the best one is because it sits right at the heart of the community. And what can be better than that?
