Iran starting eleven World Cup 2018 will have to be the strongest they can possibly have if they want to perform well in Group B of the tournament.
Although Iran performed exceptionally on the road to the World Cup with eight wins, two draws and zero losses, their opponents in AFC were nowhere near the qualified football teams in terms of ability and skill.
Iran Starting Eleven World Cup 2018
Iran has an ace up their sleeve — the highly experienced coach who has already been managing the team for quite a while. Queiroz led the same team in the previous World Cup, but this time they seem to be doing better so far.
The starting eleven for each upcoming match isn’t announced yet, but we believe it won’t change a whole lot. The best players included in the squad will likely get the most playtime and appear on every match:
- Jalal Hosseini
- Mohammad Ansari
- Saeid Ezatolahi
- Ehsan Hajsafi
- Mahdi Taremi
- Sardar Azmoun
- Alireza Jahanbakhsh
While the team is working well, it isn’t perfect, so when the tension rises, we can’t say if they will retain the same discipline or create opportunities.
Iran starting squad should include players similar to those in the qualifiers, though progress will have to be made to stay in the competition at this point.
