Iceland Squad

Iceland will be playing in their first ever World Cup this summer. It is quite an achievement for the small island, who will be hoping to build on their fantastic showing at Euro 2016. Iceland qualified through finishing first in their qualification group, which just shows how well Iceland are currently performing.

Iceland are not exactly the most feared team at the World Cup, but opponents will be aware that they can certainly compete at this level. If teams get complacent, as England did in Euro 2016, Iceland will be ready to take full advantage.
