Brazil Squad

With the World Cup 2018 just weeks away, each competing countries final squads are being announced at the moment. Brazil, who are the current favourites to win this year’s international tournament, named their 23-man squad earlier this week and the line-up has surprised some football fans.

Here the 23 players who will be travelling to Russia as part of the Brazil international team:

As you can see, Brazil will be taking a very young squad to the World Cup 2018, yet manager Tite must be pretty confident in his choices. Noteably, however, Dani Alves did not make the team, after sustaining a serious injury in PSG’s Coupe de France final.

He has been replaced by Danilo, but all eyes will definitely be on Neymar. Neymar has been recovering from surgery on his foot, after also sustaining an injury back in February.

Brazil World Cup 2018 Squad: Top Goal Scorer

Provided he is fully recovered, Neymar will be vying to be crowned Top Goalscorer of the competition. He is currently the second favourite to pick up the title, behind Messi, and his odds stand at around 10/1.
