Another week, another pair of brand new slots from your favourite casino here at GoWin. We’ve been adding some pretty exciting and innovative games over the last month or so, so this week we thought we’d keep things simple with a couple of games. This isn’t to say that these games aren’t worth playing, but only that they’re not breaking any moulds in any big way.
Golden Mane, a sort of horse and country themed slot from NextGen Gaming, and Fu Dao Le, a Chinese themed slot from Scientific, might not be the most ground breaking slots in the world, but hear us out. They both have some interesting elements to get your teeth into.
Golden Mane is certainly one of the more out there slots when it comes to game theme. The main (mane) character of the game is a horse with a… well… golden mane, who travels through beautiful landscapes, allowing you to enjoy gorgeous vistas as you play.
While this might sound a bit strange as a slot theme, the game has been online around various casinos for a while now and has proven to be more than just an average hit with players. That might be to do with the playful theme or with the super-high 96.96% return to player rate that the game boasts — we’ll let you decide.
The 5 reel, 10 payline game is pretty low-tech in its delivery and is certainly one of the straightforward games we’ve added recently, at least mechanics wise. You can bet anything from 15p all the way up to £150 with the promise of a jackpot worth up to 700x your wager if you manage to line up five white horses on the reels. Look out for horseshoe symbols, which act as scatters in the game and allow you to claim up to six extra spins per round.
Like many slots from Scientific Games, Fu Dao Le started life as a popular land-based slot machine and has proved over the years to be one of the most popular in the developer’s arsenal of games. Scientific Games are no strangers to Chinese themed slots and have in fact got somewhat of a series running with a similar aesthetic.
Alongside Fu Dao Le, there are 88 Fortunes, Big Red Lantern and Lucky Tree. Each of these games employs the same colour palette and many of them hare the same style of little cherubic characters, called ‘Fu Babies’. So you’re probably wondering about what the mobile version of the slot has in store for you, eh?
Well, this five reel slot is pretty much in every way the same as its land-based parent, only on a reduced scale. The excessive Chinese adornment has been retained, as have the Any Way Pays paylines arrangement and the Pick Your Bonus mini game. Plus, there is the brilliant extra spins round during which you can enjoy up to 15 extra spins with an up to 5x multiplier. This isn’t the most feature rich game in the world, but it’s certainly a diverting play.
Both games go live at GoWin Casino from Thursday 31st August.
